More: Birdie~Buckets was originally rescued from the Contra Costa Shelter in CA by Umbrella of Hope Rescue. He had been attacked and had numerous life threatening wounds, but he was a miraculous survivor!! The Rescue named him Pippo… Which happens to be my last name! I was going through the saddest time of my life as I had suddenly lost my Dad and my two longtime love of my life doggies Mabel and Nugget all within 45 days of each other. This little bucket of love flew into my life and rescued me and helped mend my broken heart! And that’s how he got renamed Birdie~Buckets…because he flew into my life unexpectedly with so much love and buckets of joy! He makes every day a grand adventure!
