On one hunt when Buck's human companion missed the same Quail three times. Buck had found that same Quail twice, on the third time buck retrieved the bird. Brought it to hunter, placed it at his feet and walked away with a side glance that said, "There now maybe you won't miss it again, let's find more ". Age has brought an end to Buck's hunting days. Though he never fails to love being with his family and all of our "Barky Bunch". Buck will most likely earn his "Wings of Gold" in 2021. Our fun loving, Gun Dog, and home companion, and best couch buddy.
