Bunker

Loving life!

More: Bunker is named after a golf bunker (following a family history of golf-related dogs named: Birdie, Bogie, Divot). He’s the funniest, sweetest and most easy-going boy. He enjoys walks, swimming, naps, belly rubs, ice cubes, and whatever fruit or vegetable I’m currently chopping. He jumps nearly 2 feet in the air for treats! When Bunker was 6, he woke up one day and was blind. He’s a true test case as the doctors cannot identify how or why he suddenly had two detached retinas. He is resilient and has learned to manage his blindness with his parents as guides. Bunker developed glaucoma after 1 year being blind, and therefore it was recommended to have his eyes removed. He’s happy and healthy, on no medication. Bunker goes everywhere with us- planes, trains and automobiles. He’s the best cuddle buddy and, these days, my closest work companion.
