More: For 9 of his years, we had a small fenced backyard but we went to the lake for trail walks and swims all the time! Two years ago we finally bought a home with acerage and it's like he's a pup again! But a year and 2 months ago, we found a tumor growing on his throat/neck that has grown to softball size since. But because of all it's attached to, there is nothing we can do but let him live as comfortable as possible.
