More: Carter was seized for abuse and neglect…he had a glorious foster before I got him and he is now the sweetest goofy boy I know. Pashtu is a rescue from Afghanistan. They have bonded completely. More than that…they healed a lot of wounds for an active duty person. I think it is important to know that we don’t just ‘adopt’ them…they heal us.
