More: We had an older black Lab named Shock when we thought he might want a "brother" to play with. A local breeder had three puppies and we chose not the runt but the largest puppy in the litter. The boys bonded and played and wrestled and had a great time. Sadly, Shock had some medical problems and had to be put down last week. Cash seemed to know things were different and he has stepped up to the plate and become the "hold down the fort" dog. We miss our Shock but are very proud of Cash.
