We rescued him from a neighbor showed up at our doorstep asking if we wanted him otherwise he was going to the pound that moment. They abandoned him at 10 years old and got a new puppy, claiming he was a rescue dog (they had him for 8 years) and they couldn't take him anymore. They didn't appreciate his desire to always be with his family and they neglected him...but now, with us he is happy and runs with our other three dogs and is like a puppy. We have healed his physical and emotional wounds (he came to us with a double ear infection, 6x6 inch matts, afraid of water, his back legs would collapse, and now he runs and climbs stairs like a puppy. He's a character! He goes glamping and is loving life.
