More: Chipmunk was adopted as a stray and very sick dog from a local animal shelter. His fur was sunburnt red and frazzeled. He has since gained 25 lbs. and grown a sleek and beautiful black coat. He has learned many new skills including swimming, and bird flushing and retrieval. His daily activities include running, napping and snuggling a stuffed toy named Owl.
