More: Chubbs was my emotional support animal. He helped me survive through detoxing and getting sober, he got me through the loss of my mother when I was just 20 years old and he knows me better than anyone ever has. He loved every person and animal he comes in contact with. He was the most compassionate, chill dog there is. The amount of empathy he had is something I’ve never witnessed in a dog before. He knew when I need his kisses or for him to lay on my chest to provide weight for my anxiety. His snorts and sounds are what got me through every day. He is my comfort; he was my home. I think this would be an incredible way to honor the memory of the best friend anyone could have ever had.
