More: Clancey came into our lives the day after Easter this year. The previous owners needed a furever home for this pretty baby that wasn't going to be theirs even though they loved her and thought she would be a good fit. She was getting big quickly and with two small children they didn't think it was a good idea to keep her wild little self. She was found on the street in North Carolina being roughed up by other dogs. We are actually the third (and furever) family she has been with in her short beautiful life. She is an amazing dog, she plays with our kids and when my daughter goes outside on her playground Clancey Girl is right by her side playing and guarding. She sleeps in bed with our son who has ADHD and anxiety and gives him a good night's sleep by doing so, laying right next to him spread out in his blankets. She is the most loving girl there is and also always tried to play with our 14 year old girl jack Russell whom we just lost to kidney disease and infection and kept her on her toes and feeling young while she was with us. We are so so lucky to have Clancey Jayne appear in our lives especially when we weren't really looking due to losing our boy jack Russell 6 months before to sinus cancer. She is so smart and learns tricks quickly although her jumping from excitement still needs work lol. We love her so much already and look forward to our first Christmas next week with her. It's going to be a hard one without our Addie but hopefully she can keep us laughing and smiling with her antics.
