More: Coco and her siblings were rescued by our local Humane Society and we’re all treated for respiratory infections. We adopted her at 4 months old during the height of the COVID Pandemic in March 2020. It’s hard to believe that the dog you see in the picture is the same pup we adopted. When we first got her, she was scared of everything! The leaves rustling in the wind would startle her. I had to carry her out of a park one time because she was scared of a dog barking in the distance. She wouldn’t even walk 0.25 miles on our local trail before pulling to go back to the car. We just went on our first hiking trip with her to explore the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. SHE ABSOLUTELY ROCKED IT! We had more amazing photos if needed!
