More: Cody was diagnosed with malignant melanoma of the mouth this last April. I took him to an oncologist and opted for surgical removal and the 4 series of melanoma vaccine injections. As of now, no signs of cancer! I’m a nurse and was able to clearly understand the options presented during this scary time. Luckily Cody healed very quickly and had no side effects from the vaccines.
