More: Both dogs are registered AKC German Shorthair Pointers. Cody was a formidable competing field trial dog and McQueen was a champion show dog in his early years. Cody developed bone cancer and passed away after a short period of time. McQueen was diagnosed with Lymphoma and we valiantly fought this tough cancer for one year before he passed away as well. As lifetime fellow dog lovers we support the Orvis partnership with Morris Animal Foundation and Canine Cancer Research to continue work towards finding cures and treatments for our beloved companions. Both are wearing their wonderful Orvis dog collars and we are proud to continue our longtime purchasing of all the great dog products that Orvis offers. Cody and McQueen were wonderful family members, are sorely missed and will live on in our memories and hearts forever.
