More: Copper was adopted six years ago from a shelter in Portland, OR. We are his third home. He is the sweetest golden and best dog we have ever had. Copper was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2020. He had his front left leg amputated and underwent chemotherapy. The dog oncologist gave him 12 months to live. He is going on 16 months post surgery and is cancer free. The vet says he is a miracle dog. We pray Copper continues to live a happy life with our other dog/ his golden brother Rascal.
