More: The rescue was mutual. We needed him as bad as he needed us. Our family was dealing with a sick Dad and Copper was the medication we all needed. Copper got my husband back on his feet and he was able to walk again. He and Copper would take slow steps from making it outside, to the driveway, then the mailbox, up to the stop sign etc. Copper knew he was going to be the one thing that got him motivated. How can you pass up a smile from Copper! Happily, Copper has the whole family taking him on daily walks by just flashing his smile!
