More: We lost our lab in April at age 15. The border collie is an excellent addition to help my 11 year old stay young! He ignores the puppy and the puppy is so respectful of his geriatric friend! Great friendship developing. We are lucky to have so much conservation land around us for great walks. This one is on a frozen pond at an ice fishing derby near our house. My sons built four Eagle Scout projects at this pond so it’s part of our family and our dogs!
