More: Dapperton is the perfect bank and boat fishing buddy, staying nearby and guarding our catches, and keeping calm on the boat(we’re still working on wading...he thinks we’re walking to our death and comes after us in a hurry). Dapperton is also my PTSD buddy. He had a traumatic attack by a bigger dog right around the time I started treatment for my PTSD, and in a way it felt like we were recovering from trauma together. There are a lot of good boys out there, but Dapperton is truly a special breed of good boy.
