More: Deputy Dog got his name for one simple reason. He needed a regal name to offset that forlorn look on his face. People smile when they see him and always laugh and "awe" when they ask his name. He made the West Mountain Animal Hospital Hall of Fame photo gallery on his first visit. More than anything he became my everything when I adopted him. His late older brother, a chihuahua named Harry Truman, took Deputy Dog under his wing and showed him the ropes. He is gentle, kind and most of all friendly to everyone.
