More: Dingo passed away April 19th, 2020 after being diagnosed with cancer. Dingo was a rescue dog, I got her when she was 4. She was the best companion and, though she wasn't much into toys, she absolutely LOVED the outdoors: going for walks, hunting squirrels and chasing geese, car rides to new adventures and (...lucky me!) cuddling in bed. To me, she epitomizes what this contest is about and symbolizes the importance of the continuation of research in hopes of preventing/treating an awful disease inflicted on those we are (or were) lucky enough to call our best friends... In fact, I can't think of a more fitting tribute for mine.
