More: Dixie was a rescue out of Tampa Florida by a group called Lost Angels. We had just lost our other jack Russell unexpectedly a few months before. Dixie was named by the rescue group and we just decided to keep it. She has been a true blessing all these years and a big part of our family. She has slowed down a bit for her age, but for a jack Russell that only means from 100 mph, to about 90. Ive always wondered what she was dreaming about in this picture, maybe, just maybe, she’s running free with all her rescued kennel mates.
