More: Dixie is our rescue girl. After she was rescued from a kill shelter, she gave birth to puppies & I was told was a great Mama! She was overlooked for adoption but one by one, each puppy got a new home. We had just said our final goodbyes to our rescue Golden mix & our other rescue was very depressed. We found Dixie & after getting a hug from her on that first meet, we knew she would be our newest furever family member. She has given us so much love. Coming home to her is the most heartwarming. She gets so excited that she “woo woo woo’s” I believe she rescued us more than we did her!
