More: Duke is the so sweet and friendly that everyone in our small town and the nearby Home Depot knows him by name and goes out of their way to see him. Even neighbors who are afraid of dogs are drawn to him. I've never seen anything like it. Duke was rescued from a Houston shelter as a young puppy so we don't know his exact breed but if he is a pit-mix, like we believe, he is the most incredible ambassador for the breed that you could ever imagine.
