More: Duncan has been one of 3000+ "hero" participants in the Morris Animal Foundation Golden Retriever Lifetime Study since he was a puppy. The study's purpose is to identify the nutritional, environmental, lifestyle and genetic risk factors for cancer and other major diseases in dogs. As Duncan says, he wants to help all future dogs. We learned about the study from a previous cover submission to Orvis - we've lost three amazing Golden Retrievers to cancer over the years.
