More: When we got Ellie she was 3. On my way to pick her up I learned she was deathly afraid of water, due to near drowning as a pup. Main reason to get her was to duck hunt. It was a long summer of training and building trust. From walking her near the water, to finally watching her swim for the first time! Now her favorite thing to do is hunt and retrieve ducks. And she is amazing!
