More: Elsa is that true once in a lifetime dog. She was my heart and soul. She was full of life and full of personality but an old soul as well. She died three days after this picture was taken. She died of hemangiosarcoma (the silent killer). She was 6 1/2. Did she know on this day that she was going to be leaving me? I believe that look she gave me was her farewell look. I have to go mom, but I promise you I will find you once again. I sure hope so. My heart is still broken and raw and I miss her every day. She was beautiful inside and out!
