More: Elsie has a deformed left front paw, but that does not keep her from being a great swimmer. She's eager to help land any fish we catch and keeps patrol along the dock for them. She spends hours wading back and forth along the shoreline chasing them. She is the only lab I've ever known that wags her tail above the water constantly while swimming.
