The Glen of Imaal Terrier is a vulnerable breed, with less than 3,000 worldwide. They breed has been in existence since the 16th century and are one of the nine native dog breeds of Ireland. Glen's were originally bred to eradicate large vermin (fox/badger) and to be all-purpose farm dogs. They are native to County Wicklow, Ireland.
