More: Francis came from the Kentucky Humane Society. She was extremely thin and according to our vet, she had been a breeding dog since she was just 6 months old. (I have many pictures) We hand fed her for the first week or so and slowly but surely she started to gain weight and have the energy and confidence that a Coonhound should. She is your typical “Treeing Walker,” she loves the outdoors, loves car rides and loves playing with our 5 children. She is so well behaved, it’s almost like her good behavior is her thanking us. She has been an amazing addition to our family.
