More: Freya was rescued from a pillowcase along with her siblings about to be thrown into a pond and drowned. When we brought her home, she was so loving, but terrified of men and having any sort of fabric touching her head. Now, 7 months later, she’s made amazing progress, snuggling under blankets and playing under sheets. She’s still a little nervous about men, but loves the men that are constant in her life.
