More: She is the most nurturing, loving and caring part of our family. She’s has cared for all the dogs and cats that have come through our home throughout her life with us. We volunteer for Carolina Boxer Rescue. Gidget is wearing a shirt of one of the rescues named Snoopy. We also have two other Boxers, one is Tyson who was surrendered to the Carolina Boxer Rescue due to his owner passing away. We fostered him and ended up adopting him. Gidget helped him through his grieving the loss of his owner. Gidget also has deemed herself the guardian of our granddaughter. She has from day one slept outside her room and now sleeps by her side in her bed at nap time. Gidget loves hiking and going on what we call field trips for fun.
