More: Ginger has a great sense of smell. We can throw a stick deep into the woods, where a thousand other sticks are, and she will bring back that same stick every time! She does not stop until she finds it. Even if her back is turned and she has no idea where you threw it. She relies on her hearing and smell. She was a wild one in her early years. I knew people loved labs but at the time had a hard time understanding why. She chewed everything. She took me for a walk instead of vice versa. She failed every training class we took her to. She has definitely mellowed with age and we have lots of stories to tell. She is the sweetest, most loving, mostly well behaved dog that loves finding treasures on her walks.
