More: Grits is funny, independent, intuitive, and caring. She came with me for over 3 years for hormonal chemotherapy. I got her as a therapy dog during a very challenging part of my life. She volunteers within our community as an emotional support animal and has become a well known neighbor/friend on the Upper East Side. She is obsessed with tennis balls and loves being off leash in Central Park. She is a natural pointer who loves chasing pigeons and squirrels. She is a city dog with the heart of a country dog.
