More: Gunner is my “granddog” who we bought for our daughter when she was a student at Texas A&M university for companionship. He was her snuggle buddy then and hangs on her every word now. He hikes with her, retrieves and points and she has even used him for tracking deer. He has an abundance of energy and a keen sense of finding his way back. And boy, don’t those eyes just make you want to give him some love?
