More: Gunner is our third Standard Poodle. We lost our other two boys to old age (14 and 15) within the last year. We did not think we would get another dog because it seemed too painful. However, Gunner has been a blessing. He doesn’t replace our other boys — he is wonderful in his own right. He gets us up and going every day — as retirees that is so important. He is smart, loyal, athletic — we love our Gunner!
