More: She's smart, sweet, and energetic. Harley is actually my daughter's dog, and never having had one myself, I understand how such an animal imprints itself on your heart forever! She loves little kids, although sometimes her enthusiastic barking scares them. She's also obsessed with our four new baby chicks and seems intent on herding them once they are allowed to roam outside. That won't be until next year, though. Frisbee is her favorite game and she'll run and run, almost till she drops. We've learned we have to manage that energy, especially when it's hot and humid out; she prefers winter snows to summer heat. We just love her to bits! Even my brother-in-law, who was never an animal lover, has grown to like her, too.
