More: Harper looked like a miniature golden but dna indicated he was a lab/cocker mix. He was a rescue, dumped in a kill shelter with a broken rib, malnourished, worms, Lyme disease, severe ear infection. A rescue group saved him. We got him on 3/23/13 and think he was 3 or 4. He died of hemangioma sarcoma on 2/4/22. He was stoic and battled cancer without complaining. Harper was joyful every single day of his life. In spite of his previous abuse, he was the kindest, gentlest, friendliest dog I ever had. He loved everyone and truly had a pure heart and soul.
