More: Heidi was rescued from a bad situation and has been with our family since puppyhood. She is the sweetest, most gentle and loving of all our three dachshunds. She continues to delight all those that she comes into contact. She has a very expressive face as well as a loving, playful demeanor. She is a true hunting dog, nose on alert at all times. I think she would be a perfect candidate for Orvis!
