More: At the age of 8 months, Hershey ran into the screen door and became paralyzed. After much testing, it was discovered he has a congenital issue of the spine called Atlantoaxial Instability. This puppy was too sweet for us to just put him down. We worked with him a lot, and though all legs move, he is unable to stand and walk. He has his cart, he walks around in his pool, with the help of a life jacket, he brings us more love and joy than we could have ever imagined.
