More: Holly is a rescue from GSP Rescue of New Jersey. I have been an active volunteer for them for 6 years, she was originally my foster dog but we had the best connection and I adopted her at four years old after she was a stray in Binghamton, NY. We live in Staten Island, NYC and although she still hunts squirrels around the neighborhood she’s mostly a couch potato. Last year, Holly, who I also call Goat as a nickname, had surgery to remove a sarcoma and has been happy and healthy since thankfully. We foster still for the rescue and she loves the foster siblings she’s had over the years but doesn’t like sharing her treats.
