More: Holly developed an autoimmune disease right after the pandemic started. Her overactive immune system created a lesion in her lower spine. It was a horribly painful injury. She has come such a long way—from multiple medications for pain and swelling to becoming a dog again with the use of a cart and special back leg shoes. She is an amazing, loving dog. This was her first day back at her favorite park, and she remembered everything—it was a great day.
