More: Jake was a rescue from the Humane Society. Victim of a human relationship break-up. My fiance got Jake and he was my late fiance companion. I took over being Jake's companion for 9 years. Jake was diagnosed with cancer in 2019. He was given months to live. I could not operate due to high liver enzymes and low survival. I had to put Jake down in before Thanksgiving 2020. It was the absolute worst day of my life. R.I.P. my beautiful Boy.
