More: Jake was a one of a kind. I lost him 11/29/2020 to cancer. I want everyone to know that Huskies are a special breed and are truly a dog. Jake was loyal, independent, full of energy, and loved living. Jake lived out his last years off leash on 24 acres in the woods. He ran through forests, trotted through steams, and sat by the pond watching the koi fish all day. He slept by my side every night and woke me up for in the mornings for walks. He will be remembered as effervesent, loving, and ready to take on each day no matter what came before him. He was strong and fought to the end for his pack. I will miss him forever, and this will be the biggest tribute to him that I can offer.
