More: James is an Irish Red and White Setter, the rarest of the setter breeds. He was born in Canada, and came to live with us as a puppy. We are very active in dog sports on both sides of the border, but his favorite past time is taking long walks through the woods, where he can use his setter nose to locate the scent of birds and other wildlife. We love the peace and quiet the woods bring to us in such a troubled year.
