More: Jilley is a rescue from a kill shelter in Alabama. She loves everything outdoors from kayaking to jumping for a frisbee. This trip was only a week into her rescue and she sat shaking in my arms for a long time. When she finally relaxed and got into the front seat she turned around and looked me as if to say “ I really can trust you” and I snapped the photo. She splits her time between Tampa and the Florida Keys. Clearly she’s got a good life.
