More: He’s handsome. His beautiful eyes are sometimes soulful or sometimes mischievous. Women especially are amazed by them we and say they wish they had his eyes (Joey looks like he’s wearing eyeliner; of course he isn’t). People are also amazed by and love his beautiful tail. He looks so healthy and athletic people are very surprised to hear that he’s a senior dog and not a puppy. He is a therapy dog (now retired) and worked primarily with young children who were learning to read and read to him. Everyone who meets him falls in love with his smile. He was born and raised in Beaufort, SC. His water adventures began in the tidal marshes of the Broad River. He has a hunting dog’s sense of smell and chasing game. He once got into a predicament chasing a fawn for fun only to be chased home by the doe. He’s smart, beautiful, and interesting and I love him dearly (as if you can’t tell)!
