More: Kai was given to me as a surprise. I’ve had to put down my two dogs at separate times this year. That alone was depressing enough, but I don’t have time to deal with my loss. There’s a pandemic going on and I’m a healthcare worker at our local hospital and have to set my feelings of depression aside and keep moving forward.
