More: Since adopting Koa at the age of 5.5 months, Koa and Makana were inseparable. I love this photo of them walking home after a long walk on the beach. We said goodbye to Makana in December 2019 a few months after her 16th birthday. This photo reminds me how lucky we were to have two pups with such a special relationship.
