More: These puppies are from Homeward trails Rescue, where I have been a puppy foster for about 6 years and this was my 4th set of puppies born at the house. I fostered the mother who was very undernourished, scared of the world and very pregnant. She had a difficult delivery but all 8 puppies lived and thrived under her care and ours. It was not an easy 8 weeks due to the mother getting an infection and tried to stop nursing the puppies who where taking all the nutrients from her. In the end all 8 puppies went to loving families and I kept one of the puppies (my older dog had died last year) and two of Koda's sisters live close and they love spending time together. You cannot tell that the other sister is in the white care behind us and we all were on our way to take the puppies for a group walk! The mother also went to a loving family who love and adore her where she has also thrived beyond any of our hopes.
