More: Laddie was a sweet puppy surrendered with his 9 litter mates to the Humane Society of Central Oregon as an unwanted litter at 9 weeks old. His mom, a Certified Veterinary Technician at the shelter decided to take him home for the weekend to foster. Laddie broke with Parvovirus the next day and was provided intensive medical treatment at home by his mom while in isolation for nearly two weeks. We did not think he was going to survive, but his strong will pulled him through and now he is the most intelligent, loyal, loving dog we have owned. This is a photo of his first alpine touring trip up a local summit, Tumalo Mountain in early December with his dad. He could not have had more fun nor been a better climbing buddy.
