More: Laurel came to us in the wake of a death of a Labrador I dearly loved and wrote about for Garden and Gun‘s Good Dog Column. I was not ready for another dog, but my family was. I am so glad that they were. Laurel is a brilliant, sweet dog who learns quickly and is very protective of her family. She’s a blessing.
